EMF in every dimension


FULL ON 3D  

After being one of the first in the field, EMF is now providing many 3D services:

The world’s biggest forest: EMF has joined together with Lithium Production to make a series of six 52 minute documentaries (to be broadcast on France Ô and Orange’s 3D channel).
For the first one, EMF’s bold staff were in French Guiana with two 3D cameras.
Post-production (over 30 hours of rushes) is being provided by EMF and Videohouse.

Concert in memory of Michael Jackson: The concert, called "Michael Forever", was held on Saturday 8th October at Cardiff’s huge Millennium Stadium. The Euro Media Group team was there (an interesting mix of nationalities – Dutch, British, Belgian and French) together with the OB  truck 14 from United to record the concert, using nine 3D cameras.

WHEN NIGHT FALLS

Whether the night is white or tropical, EMF always keeps the camera rolling!

To mark the 10 years of Nuit Blanche , France 3 is showing a live special, from 0:30 to 6:00 in the morning. EMF is providing the technical equipment for the set, using OB truck M1 and 7 cameras.

The five and a half hour concert of the “Overseas Territories Night” ( Nuit de l’Outre-Mer ) warmed up the atmosphere in Bercy on the 8th October. The EMF team, OB truck XL4 and eight cameras were hired by Zycopolis Productions to film and record this great show, which will be broadcast on 26th November on France Ô.

EMF PLAYS BADMINTON

For the 3rd year running, EMF is providing the French Badminton Federation (FFBAD) with the equipment needed to record the French Open, which is being held from 25th to 30th October at the Pierre de Coubertin stadium. As technical partner, Euro Media France will work with the FFBAD to ensure TV viewers across the world can watch, at a time when its number of members has grown in France to over 156,000 (+ 100 % in 10 years) and when the sport is being played more and more in schools.

Brassens, la mauvaise réputation

The Bry-sur-Marne outdoor set has been used for a new TV film, Brassens, la Mauvaise réputation (Auteurs Associés).
All technical equipment has been hired from Transpamedia.  Valérie Le Gurun (director of photography) has opted for an Alexa camera with Cooke S4 lenses from Transpacam, and Transpalux is providing rental of lighting equipment. Transpagrip  is responsible for the machinery and utility vehicles.

Livetools presents the HD Runner III

Livetools Technology, the Swiss subsidiary of EMG, presented its latest HF gem at the Milpol fair:
the HD Runner III.

This 3rd generation product, developed to meet EMF’s specific requirements, addresses the real problems encountered in the broadcast world.
This new transmitter is, in particular, capable of up to 7.9 GHz (CE testing and certification).
