PAU GRAND PRIX AND MONACO GRAND PRIX
This May, Euro Media France has covered two motorsport races. For the 10th consecutive year, EMF has put in place a good team (2 cars, 42 cameras and some hundred technicians) to film the Formula 1 drivers on the mythical Monaco circuit. In contrast, the 70th Pau Grand Prix is a first for Euro Media France – the service was successful despite the complexity of the set up.

PILOTS IN THE STUDIOS
May in the studios saw a succession of pilots for gameshows and talkshows. Productions made use of our studios for new ideas, new sets, new equipment, new casts… Because new shows are always important, we hope these new programmes turn the pilots into long-term fixtures in the TV schedules!

A SMALL TOUR IN CALIFORNIA
For the 2nd year, 3 Euro Media France motorcycle drivers and 11 other HF technicians crossed the Atlantic to film the Tour of California, which began in Nevada City and ended in Sacramento. For the first time, the HF service filmed the whole cycle race in MPEG-4, the format offering the greatest robustness for broadcasts.

Transpamedia in Cannes

|
While Midnight in Paris, filmed by Woody Allen using Transpamedia technical equipment, has opened the Cannes Festival, Catharsis by Cédric Prévost has received the Unifrance Short Film Award Grand Prize. Produced by Charles Paviot (Arts Premiers), this short film showcases Transmedia’s equipment, as the film is the story of a director obsessed by the insatiable desire to film. The studio, the lighting, the machinery and the camera from Transpa are therefore actors in a film that shouldn’t be missed.
