November, 28th - Euro Media France acquires S-TV

S-TV joins EMF and to a larger extent the Group at the end of 2011. S-TV will become a subsidiary of EMF and will bring with it new skills in the guise of mastery of production in the realms of satellite broadcasting with multi-camera SD/FD.

July, 6th 2011 - International Signal and 3D : the Monaco wedding

On the occasion of the marriage of Prince Albert II and South African Charlène Wittstock, Euro Media France transformed Monaco into a huge film set. Just one month after filming the Monaco Grand Prix, EMF recorded and broadcast the ceremony in 2D and 3D: images that went around the world!

May, 31st - Luc Geoffroy, Managing Director EMF

Luc Geoffroy has been appointed Managing Director of Euro Media France, taking over from Louis Zumelzu who is currently on secondment in the Group. His main work is to provide the operational and organisational management of the group, in close cooperation with Bernard Chaussegros, Chairman of Euro Media France.

January, 30th - Bernard Chaussegros appointed President of Euro Media France

Euro Media France, the leading French provider in audiovisual services, has the
pleasure of announcing the appointment of Bernard Chaussegros as its president,
following a board meeting held on Friday, 28th January 2011. Bernard Chaussegros,
formerly vice-president, will thus take over from Chantal Barry the running of Euro
Media France.

June, 30th - Covering the Tour de France again!

On Saturday 3 July, the 97th Tour de France takes off from Rotterdam to finish after 3,600 km, 20 stages and 23 passes on Sunday 25 July on the celebrated final stage of the Champs Elysées. Euro Media France shall deploy all of its technical resources necessary for the coverage of the most famous cycling route for France Télévisions.

June, 22nd - Euro Media France supports Solidays

Euro Media France is teaming up for the 4th consecutive year with “Solidarité Sida” in order to provide coverage of the 12th edition of the Solidays which shall take place on 25, 26 and 27 June on the field of Longchamp.

April, 29th 2010 - Euro Media France, Technical partner of the World Badminton Championships

Euro Media Sports is proud to be associated with the Fédération Française de Badminton [French Badminton Federation] and with its consulting firm Keneo for the provision of coverage of the World Badminton Championships, which shall take place from 23 to 29 August at the Coubertin Stadium.

January, 22nd - The birth of Euro Media France

Euro Media France, a subsidiary of the Euro Media Group chaired by Jean‐Pierre Barry, the European leader in audiovisual technical services, is embarking on a new stage in its organisation. Indeed, since 1 January, the companies SFP, VCF and Euro Media Télévision have merged within this new structure, which will inherit these historic brands.
